#LoveMoves: A Night of Truth, Love, and Fellowship

On February 28, 2025, youth from BCIF Pototan, Dueñas, Passi, and BWC Dumangas gathered at BCIF Dueñas for #LoveMoves: An Open Mic Night—a special event designed to spark meaningful conversations about faith, relationships, and real-life struggles. With around 70 young people in attendance, the night was filled with laughter, learning, and deep discussions that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

The event provided a safe and open space for young people to ask some of the most frequently raised questions about God, love, sex, family, and relationships. A panel of pastors—Ptr. Ruperth, Ptr. Sam, Ptr. Rey, Ptr. Jing, Ptr. Francis, and Ptr. Brandon—served as guides, offering biblical wisdom and practical advice to help the youth navigate these important topics.

The evening started with engaging games that broke the ice and set the tone for a fun and interactive atmosphere. As the open mic session began, participants courageously asked honest and thought-provoking questions. Topics ranged from academic pressures and dating unbelievers to deeper discussions on same-sex relationships and the importance of purity before marriage. The pastors addressed each question with love, grace, and biblical truth, creating an environment where no topic was off-limits.

One of the most heartwarming moments of the night was when the pastors shared their own love stories—how God led them to their spouses and how their Christ-centered relationships have shaped their lives and ministries. These testimonies reminded the youth that God’s plan for love and relationships is not just about rules but about experiencing His best for our lives.

Beyond just answering tough questions, #LoveMoves was about building friendships and fostering open communication. The event encouraged young people to connect, share, and learn from one another in a space filled with understanding and encouragement. The combination of fun, faith, and fellowship created a night where participants felt heard, valued, and equipped to make godly decisions in their own lives.
